Theme Park Ride Times

Obviously, to be successful in this challenge, you need to know how many minutes is equal to two hours.
If I know 1 hour = 60 minutes, then I know 2 hours = 60 + 60 minutes.
If I know 6 + 6 = 12, then I know 60 + 60 = _____
So 2 hours is equal to 120 minutes.
In the comments, complete these extra conversion questions. Questions 1-4 are mild. Questions 5-8 are spicy, only try these if you dare.
Hello Mr Morgan,

1. 3 hours.
2. 70 days.
3, 62 days.
4. 12 hours.
Spicy
5. 300 min.
7. 168 hours.
Well done to both of you. Some of those spicy questions are really very hard! I would expect most children to only try questions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Thank you to Aaron for emailing me your 2 hour plan. He has chosen to start with The Missile, which takes 30 minutes. I wonder if anyone else will start with the same rollercoaster?

Excellent answers Safiyyah and Yi-Xuan, I’m confident that these spicy questions were challenging for you!
Hi Mr Morgan,
Mild:
1. 3 hours.
2. 70 days. (7×10)
3. 62 days. (31+31)
4. 12 hours. (24 divided by 2)
Spicy:
5. 300 seconds. (60+60+60+60+60)
6. 6 laps ( First i converted 90 seconds (60+30) in to minutes which is 1 and half minutes. To go, 2 laps it takes 3 minutes. (1+1/2+1+1/2=3). It can go 4 laps within 6 minutes. (6 divided by 3=2, then 2×2=4)
7. 168 hours. (24+24+24+24+24+24+24)
8. 16 weeks and 1 day left. ( I was trying to group 113 days in to group of 7s. Then I got 77 days 7×11. 113-77=36 days. Again I tried to group 36 days in to group of 7s. 5×7=35. 113-77-35=1. 11 weeks +5 weeks =16 weeks.
6 and 7 Questions were really challenging.
Thank you.
I made those questions very difficult on purpose, to really challenge you! Remember, it’s ok to find things difficult. Try and try and try again. If you keep trying, one day you’ll be successful and it will feel amazing.
