This is the last reading post I’m afraid. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Adrian and Allana for completing every piece set – you’re absolute superstars!!
Questions:
- What system did Auggie and his mum have for explaining how much pain he was in when he couldn’t speak?
- Why is the word ‘secretly’ put in inverted commas when describing the other parents pointing at Auggie in the playground?
- Why do you think Auggie feels frustrated towards his mum when they were walking home?
- ‘We are like beauty and the beast.’ Why do you think Auggie describes him and Summer like that? How do you think he is feeling at this point?
