Hello Year Six,
I hope you all had a great weekend. Things are going to be a little different in terms of home learning going forward as some of you return to school, while the others will continue from home. The aim is to set the same work on here for home learners as we are doing in school as best we can. I will have a look at things as the weeks go by, looking at what is the best way to connect with home learners as unfortunately many have not been reading these posts, therefore have not been doing the tasks set. As always, well done to those that have consistently been doing the work, emailing me extra stuff and engaging with these posts – you’re great!!
This morning, before we go back to normal learning, we felt it important to just pause and reflect on a time that has been anything but normal. I think its important to think about how we are feeling at the moment, possibly share some of our experiences and to just recognise that for many this has been a very challenging time.
I have attached the powerpoint of reflection questions we will be suing this morning and then a planning sheet for your responses. The planning sheet is just to make notes, get the ideas down – don’t worry, it is not your final piece.
More work will follow today. It is essential that you’re reading these posts everyday so you can access the work. Mymaths has been set for the week as per usual and you can also do the daily tasks on Purple Mash. I believe parents have been given information on how you can come in and change your reading books over the next period.
Thank you!!
