    Hi Mr Morgan,
How are the family travelling to the seaside?
The family are travelling to the seaside by train.
In the first verse, find and copy one word that tells you someone is shouting.
    The word is”cried”.
When the person has sand between their toes, how might they be feeling?
They might feel a little hot because when I sand in my toes they always feel hot.
Do the deck chairs belong to the family? Explain how you know.
Yes because it says”My family” And that’s why it belongs to the family.
Why does the last line say ‘crunch, crunch, crunch’?
Because the person is making crunching sounds while eating.
In the last verse, why might the person be hungry?
Because he’s licking his lips like predators do when they are hungry and can’t wait to eat their prey. I don’t like this.?
Who do you think has written this poem?
    William Shakespeare.
At what time of day do you think the family leaves their house?
    I think they leave at 3 o’clock.
    ???

Interesting answers Melina! Some of them are correct, some of them you might need to think again.

William Shakespeare did not write this poem! Think about who in the family might have done it. The Mum? The Dad? Or one of the kids?

I have tried calling you but Mum or Dad were busy. I will try again at 5 o’clock. Please tell them.

  • Safiyyah says:

    • Mr Morgan says:

      Snot is correct!

Boot and foot have a different sound in the middle, so they don’t rhyme. However I am really happy you are trying! I have sent you an email with sheets that will help you practise this.
