This half term at school there would normally be a lot of fun…
Sports Day
School Trips
International Week
Summer Fair…
So it’s important that I find a way to make learning at home fun too, right?
Every Thursday I’m going to try and do just that. I’ll be sharing a fun activity to do about the seaside every Thursday.
I’m also starting a competition. Where in the United Kingdom has the best beaches? There will be six different choices and each week I will share one video. After six Thursdays, you will have seen all six videos. On the final week, you will get to vote for your favourite.
This week’s choice is – THE WEST OF SCOTLAND! You might recognise the music…
Next week I’ll be sharing some of the beaches from Wales!

seaside spot the difference
See if you can spot the differences between the two pictures! Please note, if you print in black and white then you won’t be able to find all the differences.
Tell me in the comments what you can see that is different in the pictures. Try to get your spelling correct, so please use the word mat.

If you have finished every set task for the week on MyMaths, Purple Mash, and on the blog posts, then you can practise one more time on Times Tables Rockstars or you can visit BBC Bitesize and find excellent lessons there.
You can share anything you do at home with me on westgreen.yellowclass@gmail.com
what is this song I like it mr morgan please tell me what song it is I love it so much I did the video again and again haha
The song is by a group called ‘Niteworks’
“Air Fàir An Là” (feat. Sian)
The music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GY7q1DjmsiE
Extremely beautiful beaches in Scotland ! I wish to go there one day 🙂
I recognise the song and it was like the last time we did it.
It is a very similar video, you’re right. The beaches in the west of Scotland seem a lot quieter than the ones closest to London, such as Brighton or Southend!
