The Ancient Greeks

In year 6, at the beginning of this term, we have been focusing on the ancient Greeks – its been very interesting so far. We have been writing reports focusing on three main areas: democracy, the Olympics and Greek gods.  I really enjoyed learning about democracy, I didn’t know that we still use a lot of their ideas today, although, back then only men could vote.  We also worked on using commas, brackets and dashes for parenthesis.
