# A message from Patrick- 5th May 2020

Good day to you all,

Thank you for letting me know how your reading is going and even for recommending what sounded like very good books! As soon as we are able to return and I am able to access the library, I will get started on some of them. If you are running out of reading material then please remember that you can access THIS LINK.

I have set some work on MyMaths and Purple mash that I would like everyone to have a go on and I hope that you are planning your stories for the new competition (https://www.westgreen.haringey.sch.uk/the-third-writing-competition/). If you want me to look over it and give feedback, then please email it to me. I am always happy to help and it would be brilliant to see your work at the planning stage as well.

I am thinking of a number:

• It is a 2 digit number
• One digit is double the other digit
• It is a multiple of seven
• It is an odd number

What are the two numbers that I could be thinking of? Answer in the comments below- you have to get both. If you get one right and one wrong then I can only tell you that you don’t have the answer (even if you have one of the numbers).

If you have any work that you would like sharing in these blogs then please share email them to me!

I hope you are all well,

Patrick

Ummm… 21 and 35?

• Patrick Creane says:

Unfortunately you don’t have the answer Davmie!

• Davmie says:

hmmmm…. 63?

• Patrick Creane says:

You have to give both numbers together for me to tell you whether you are correct or not!

• Davmie says:

Ok…. 42 and 84?

• Patrick Creane says:

That isn’t correct unfortunately. Remember, it’s an odd number.

• weda says:

14 21 28 MAYBE

• Patrick Creane says:

You have to pick two numbers Weda. Have a good think about it. They both have to be correct- I won’t let you know if you have one right and one wrong!
Make sure you read the clues I gave as well.

• Yi Sheng says:

You’re right Davmie! I said to be correct you have to say both numbers together (and with no wrong answers)! Are you ready for the next one?
