Hello Indigo class!

 

I hope you have all had a good weekend!

 

I’m just looking at some of the first entries for the MyMaths task that I set yesterday and I just want to remind you to get the denominators the same when comparing fractions. Also, when finding equivalent fractions, whatever you do to the numerator must be done to the denominator. There is some brilliant work going on though!

 

Right now, however, I am thinking of a number… Below, I have given some facts about that number which is between 1 and 100. Ask some more questions in the comment section and see if you can deduce what it is. You can not ask any more ‘greater than’, ‘less than’ or individual digits questions. From the facts written below (and using the 1-100 grid to eliminate answers) try to find out what the number is:

  • It is greater than 55.
  • It is even.
