Good Monday everyone!
I hope that you all had a good weekend and enjoyed the much improved weather while making sure that you are using suncream when you need it!
Please go over to Purple Mash to see the next chapter in our class book as well as the forces activity that I have set. We also have My Maths set today. I expect to see the whole class completing these tasks.
I will be ringing everyone tomorrow just to check in and see how we are getting on with our work. I look forward to speaking to everyone!
As we did not find the correct answers for last weeks challenge, I am posting is again:
Using any letter only once, what are the largest and smallest numbers that you can write down in words? You can not use negative numbers.
Example: EIGHTY
But not NINETY as N is used twice
Once you have done that, comment your answers below.
Please comment any questions if you need help or email me.
I look forward to seeing your work and if I don’t hear from you today then I shall speak to you tomorrow.
Thanks,
Patrick

It is less than ten and a LOT more than seventy. Keep going Sophia!
Less than FIVE. And the highest one is a even higher than ONE HUNDRED, let alone eighty one
ZERO is correct for the lowest one! Well done Weda!
ohh I think it is 200 am not sure what do you think patrick
You have to spell is out remember so it will be TWO HUNDRED. HUNDRED has two Ds so the number can not have HUNDRED in it.
We’ve got ZERO as the lowest but you are the closest with the highest. However, SIX THOUSAND uses S twice.
Have another go- I think you’ll get it next time!
EIGHT THOUSAND has more than one T and H. You are on the right lines though
