Good day!
I hope you have had a good week and have enjoyed the books that we are reading as a class! I have set the new chapters on Purple Mash and so go and read though them and complete the tasks. Hopefully the weather will start to improve soon and we will be able to spend more time outside of class.
Today I am hoping that you will be able to solve this puzzle for me as well as completing your work:
Using any letter only once, what are the largest and smallest numbers that you can write down in words? You can not use negative numbers.
Example: EIGHTY
But not NINETY as N is used twice
Once you have done that, comment your answers below and I will let you know if you are correct. If you are then do the bonus:
Bonus 1: allow negatives such as MINUS TWO
Please comment any questions if you need help or email me.
I look forward to seeing your work.
Thanks,
Patrick

Good start Sophia but the answers are less than TEN and more than SIXTY!
It is not. Good try. I am going to put it on today’s post as well so have a look at that.
Hello Patrick can indigo class get a pack because my little sister and my older brother have packs and in the pack are some work.
Hello Abdulhalim. Unfortunately we won’t be able to do that this week. Like always, I am setting work on here, My Maths and Purple Mash so you will be expected to complete those tasks on your computer. If you have any problems then please do email me though.

Can it be SIXETY and TEN?I mean, they are the largest and smallest numbers I can think of that doesn’t repeat any letters.I picked 60 because I didn’t want to copy your answer which was 80.I also didn’t pick 70 because there are two Es.
